Spare valves:

Spare valves may only be operated with the original HERION subplate （see page 16）. The spare valve is equipped with a new seal. When changing the
valves, the sealing surfaces must be clean and the seals must be properly positioned. Prior to commissioning, a test must be carried out according to the
operating instructions and test instructions （see page 18）.
1） Oil recommendation: Shell Hydrol DO 32, Esso Febis K 32 （as of 07/92） or similar oils with DVI values <8 （DIN 53521） and ISO viscosity class 32-46
（DIN 51519）.
Filtration: 25 to 50 μm.
Note:
If two press safety valves are used on presses with separay arranged clutch and brake, the contacts of the two pressure
switches must be integrated into the press control in such a way that both valves are de-energized in case one of
them malfunctions.
